Today in Goodwill I found a copy of War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy. As I was checking out, the lady in line behind me asked whether I was buying this book to read for pleasure or because it was required for school. When I replied that I wanted to read it, the look on her face was utter disgust and confusion. I then turned to the cashier to pay and he said to me, “You just need a Playstation.” The only response that my body allowed was for me to take my change and say to the both of them, “I would much rather read.”

And people wonder what is wrong with the world…
